Subscription
The Slingerland Literacy Institute is a non-profit organization that trains parents, teachers, administrators, and other professionals to work with students using the Slingerland Multisensory Approach. Our mission is to promote excellence in literacy instruction for all.

When you or your organization chooses to become a subscriber, you contribute to the mission of Slingerland. You also receive access to subscriber-only resources and discounts on courses and materials.

Choose your subscriber level below (most are multi-year) and pay online.

NOTE: Because all subscriptions must be processed in the office, it will take approximately 72 hours to activate this online request. You will not be able to apply any subscription discounts with this order. Note that even though we have changed titles from "members" to "subscribers" the same benefits still apply!

BASIC LEVEL:
Cost: $150*
Term: Two (2) years
Benefits:

  • 15% discount on print materials; 10% discount on digital materials
  • 10% discount on Slingerland classes

PROFESSIONAL OR CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL LEVEL:
Cost: $250*
*requires an additional $30 fee for background check every 3 years
Term: Three Years

**Certified Professional level is available to all individuals certified at the Slingerland Teaching or Instructor of Teaching levels.


CHARTER LEVEL:
Cost: $750**requires an additional $30 fee for background check every 3 years
Term: Lifetime of charter subscriber
Benefits:
  • Access to subscriber-only content on the website, DRM, and LMS platforms
  • 15% discount on print materials; 10% discount on digital materials
  • 10% discount on Slingerland classes
  • Listing on the Professional Resource web page

ORGANIZATION LEVEL:
Cost: $500
Term: Three Years
Benefits:
  • One (1) professional subscription live link on the Professional Resource web page
  • 10% discount on Slingerland classes for up to six (6) participants; 5% for 7-20 additional participants
  • 25% discount on print materials; 10% discount on digital materials
  • 30-day banner listing on the Slingerland website

Basic level subscription with the Slingerland Institute. This subscription level is available to Slingerland-trained individual professionals including teachers, tutors, administrators, therapists, medical professionals, etc. This subscription level is available to organizations with teachers trained in the Slingerland Structured Multisensory Language Approach who incorporate the entire instructional format as part of their teaching.

The professional level subscription is available to all individuals certified at the Slingerland Literacy Institute Teaching or Instructor of Teaching levels. Includes online listing. This subscription level is only available to individuals who want to bypass the annual renewals. Subscription never expires!
